Shari and I watched The Prize Winner Of Defiance, Ohio last night and she's already taken the time to review the film. I actually agree with all of her main points, so rather that restating them all, I'll let you read her review here. Overall, I thought it was a decent movie, but definitely not a comedy as the main plot centered around the alcoholic husband/father and his relationship with the family. As for a rating, like Shari, I would give the movie 3 and a half stars, mostly for the quality acting of the acting.
