As Shari first mentioned here, a large number of Internet radio sites had a day of silence last month in protest of exorbitant new royalty rates they were set to be charged. Well, with only days to spare, there has been a reprieve. While the courts did not help the radio stations or grant more time for negotiation, the record industry has instead (suprisingly) stepped up. Their representatives in this matter have said they will hold off raising the rates while they continue to negotiate with representatives from Internet radio. Lets all keep our fingers crossed that these negotiations go smoothly and that Internet radio is safe!
I enjoy Pandora, but what other good Internet radio is out there?
